Botox & Filler

A full medical consultation prior to any treatment will be carried out by our Nurse (Natalie). Within the consultation Natalie will take a detailed medical history and discuss your concerns and needs.  This ensures that you are medically able to have a treatment as some medical conditions/medications would contraindicate an aesthetic treatment. If you decide to go ahead with treatment Natalie will  prescribe the treatment and will offer you an appointment. Any risks with cosmetic treatments will be discussed with you at your consultation so that you can make a fully informed decision whether to go ahead with treatment.

Dermal fillers

For static lines and wrinkles, these being permanent, are best treated using dermal filler.  As we grow older and are exposed to the environment and lifestyle factors, I.e, alcohol and smoking, we start to lose collagen and hyaluronic acid within the skin structure.  This leads to loss of volume and sagginess.  Dermal fillers have been created to help restore lost volume.  They can also be used to volumise and redefine the lips.  Fillers can be used for fine and deeper lines and wrinkles, marionette lines around the mouth, nose to mouth lines, sagging jaw lines and cheek augmentation.

Wrinkle reducing injections

To help reduce the appearance of dynamic lines, botulinum toxin can be used in very dilute amounts.  Small injections are administered targeting specific muscle groups.  These help reduce contractions within the muscle therefore the skin is unable to make the wrinkle.  This treatment is to help with dynamic lines and wrinkles, this meaning the wrinkles and lines that form when we make an expression i.e. frown lines, crows feet.
